ANNUAL MRG WINTER BANQUET

Here are the menu selections for the annual NMV&WS, Middle Rio Grande Chapter Winter Banquet to be held, once again, at the popular and charming old town restaurant, La Crepe Michel (400 San Felipe St NW Ste C2). As previously announced, the event will be held on Sunday, January 24. We hope you have reserved this date on your calendar, as this is the most popular Chapter event and we will be the restaurant's exclusive guests. Our wine and cheese social hour will begin at 6:00 PM and dinner will be served at 7:00. Please send your menu choices to MRG Treasurer, Carol Heald, ( click on "Forward" and type cheald@lobo.net into your address box, then type in, on the "MENU SELECTIONS" below, the number of your selections and total price for each and the grand total and click on "Send Message"---or just click on the above link and type in your choices and send to Carol ).

Owner and executive chef, Claudi Zamet-Wilcox's, creations have been enjoyed and enthusiastically endorsed after each of the many times she has hosted our banquet. The food and atmosphere are both first class.

Finally, please send your check (made out to NMV&WS, MRG) to Carol Heald at 3200 El Malecon, ABQ, NM 87120 by Thursday, January 21 so we can guarantee the attendance. Claudi graciously allows us to bring our own wine, so remember to bring a bottle (two if you come to the social hour) of your favorite wine--yes, home-made wines are also encouraged--to share and enjoy with other members. We encourage all members to attend so we can get to better know each other and taste and enjoy different wines. Remember, as usual, non-member guests are invited.

Salmon au Champagne--(Filet salmon poached in champagne with cream and mushrooms) $38

Agneau a l'ail--(Lamb chops with Red Wine and Garlic Reduction) $38

Filet de Boeuf--(Filet of beef with either Peppercorn or Roquefort Sauce) $45/$38*

               * Prices denote two different filet sizes
